Title: PROPOSED RESOLUTION HONORING THE LIFE AND SERVICE OF SFC COREY HOOD WHEREAS, almighty God in His infinite wisdom has called one of our American heroes, SFC Corey Hood, from our midst; and WHEREAS, SFC. Hood, a native of Cincinnati, Ohio, was a fourteen (14) year Army veteran who valiantly served five tours in Iraq and Afghanistan; and WHEREAS, he was the recipient of several service awards including two Bronze Stars, two Meritorious Service Medals, the Master Parachutist Badge, Pathfinder, and the Air Assault and Combat Action Badges; and WHEREAS, after he began parachuting for the U.S. Army in 2010, SFC Hood amassed over 500 free-fall jumps and 75 military staticline jumps. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the President and the Cook County Board of Commissioners, on behalf of the residents of Cook County, do extend their deepest condolences and most heartfelt sympathy to the family as well as to the many friends and loved ones of SFC Corey Hood. HONORING THE LIFE AND SERVICE OF SFC COREY HOOD

 

WHEREAS, almighty God in His infinite wisdom has called one of our American heroes, SFC Corey Hood, from our midst; and
