Title: PROPOSED RESOLUTION RECOGNIZING MICHELLE EVANS ON THE OCCASION OF HER RETIREMENT WHEREAS, Michelle Evans is a graduate of Northern Illinois University class of 1985, and; WHEREAS, Michelle Evans started working in the Cook County Comptroller's Office July 21, 1987 as a Clerk under Comptroller Thomas Beck, and; WHEREAS, Michelle Evans was promoted to Garnishment Supervisor and has served in that capacity for the last 26 years where she was responsible for Child Support, Bankruptcy, Student Loans, Citations, IRS and State Levies, and; WHEREAS, Michelle Evans received the Cook County Employee of the Year award from President Richard Phelan in 1994, and; WHEREAS, Michelle Evans served under seven Comptrollers and three Interim Comptrollers during her years of service, and; WHEREAS, Michelle Evans is currently working on an electronic filing system for all bankruptcy payments that are submitted to the trustees in order to cut back on paper checks. RECOGNIZING MICHELLE EVANS ON THE OCCASION OF HER RETIREMENT  

 

WHEREAS, Michelle Evans is a graduate of Northern Illinois University class of 1985, and;

 

WHEREAS, Michelle Evans started working in the Cook County Comptroller’s Office July 21, 1987 as a Clerk under Comptroller Thomas Beck, and;

 

WHEREAS, Michelle Evans was promoted to Garnishment Supervisor and has served in that capacity for the last 26 years where she was responsible for Child Support, Bankruptcy, Student Loans, Citations, IRS and State Levies, and;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the President and Cook County Board of Commissioners to commend Michelle Evans for her years of service in her community and the sincere appreciation of the President and the Cook County Board of Commissioners is extended to Michelle Evans for her years of service to Cook County Government.
