PROPOSED RESOLUTION
HONORING DR. LYNDA G. WASHINGTON FOR HER YEARS OF SERVICE ON THE OCCASION OF HER 65TH BIRTHDAY
WHEREAS, Dr. Lynda G. Washington was born on February 11, 1957, and the daughter of the late Pastor E. R. Allen, the renowned Pastor of Christ Bible Center in Chicago; and
WHEREAS, Dr. Washington is the proud mother of Kenneth R. Washington, II, and grandmother of 3 grandsons, Kenneth R. Washington, III Christian, Gabriel and 1 granddaughter Hannah Washington; and
WHEREAS, Dr. Washington is a life-long servant of her Lord Jesus Christ and is Pastor of J.I.L.O.T.A. Worldwide Ministries, Honorary Doctor of Divinity Degree Recipient - H.O.P.E. Bible Institute & Seminary - 2017, Member of Christ Bible Center as an Administrator/Youth Pastor/God Squad/Feeding program in Roseland, Member of Family Christian Center - Munster, IN, Host Coordinator for the Dr. Lynda G. Washington Global Prayer Line, Hosted The 1st Gospel Concert at the Rock in London, Author - Book entitled: "He'll Turn Your Tears to Diamonds & Work Book Journal", and Record Producer - Christ Bible Center LIVE Recording with Prayer by the Late Pastor E. R. Allen; and
WHEREAS, Dr. Washington's community activism has spanned for over 45 years in the Chicagoland Area including as the NO texting NO Bullying Campaign Chair, Co-Founded the KEL-LAW Foundation, Inc. - over 25 years of Community Services for the Youth, Human Relations Commissioner - Rainbow Push Coalition for 30 years, Co-Founded The KEL-LAW Foundation, Inc. - over 25 years of Community Services for the Youth, Advocate for Human Trafficking local and worldwide with many organizations; and
WHEREAS, Dr. Washington has been a steadfast public servant in many contexts including: Human Relations Commissioner for Sauk Village - 3 Terms, Trustee for the Village of Sauk Village 2013-2017 (Chaired Neighborhood Watch 10 years), Democratic Women of the South Suburbs - Registering Voters and programs for the south suburbs, Soroptomist ...
